JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of our Serviceco division, your job is to ensure that tools, consumables and construction equipment are delivered to our sites on time. You will help prepare orders at the warehouse and manage returns, including basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment, as well as handling equipment during deliveries. Finally, you will be required to transport and handle heavy machinery and waste containers using a towing system. This is a position where you will have to manage changing priorities while providing outstanding customer service to all our internal teams.

Responsibilities :

  • Make daily delivery routes to construction sites and handle equipment so that it is delivered by hand to the work crews

  • Prepare orders at the warehouse for the next day

  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of heavy equipment and vehicles

  • Transport and handle heavy machinery and waste containers with a towing system (Bobcat, mechanical shovels, aerial work platforms, skyjacks, etc.).

  • Support the Logistics and Procurement Manager in all other related tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department and the organisation of the two warehouses.

Job requirements

PROFILE

  • Be available Monday to Friday from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. (may go until 3:30 p.m. depending on needs)

  • Have an exemplary driving record

  • Have 5+ years of experience in a similar position (delivery driver with commercial truck and trailer, ideally in a small to medium-sized business)

  • Have experience operating heavy machinery

  • Be able to lift loads of 50 lbs

  • Be functional in a basic digital environment (via mobile)

  • Hold a Class 5 licence

  • Hold a Class 3 licence (an asset)

  • Be able to communicate in English (basic)

  • Have knowledge of tools and basic mechanical maintenance (an asset)
