Here, you never carry a project alone: from pre-construction through delivery, you move forward shoulder to shoulder with every discipline, always working toward the same goal. Together, we deliver projects faster, with less friction and more value.

Role Mission :

As Financial Controller, your mission will be to ensure the production of financial data for A+'s operating companies, as well as the implementation and enforcement of the company's internal controls. You'll take on a leadership role, overseeing the accounting technicians. Your position sits at the heart of the group's financial reliability: you're the one providing an accurate, up-to-date read on company performance, protecting the working capital of the operating companies, and making sure internal controls don't just stay on paper.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and deliver a reliable, up-to-date financial read on company performance, aligned with ratios, budgets, and business strategies.

  • Lead quarterly budget follow-ups with the various business units.

  • Maintain working capital for the operating companies at or above the company's needs and stakeholder requirements (banks, investors, shareholders).

  • Ensure the implementation and compliance of internal controls across the operating companies.

  • Develop the skills of the accounting technicians.

  • Ensure clear, structured accountability reporting to stakeholders.

  • Oversee compliance and proper management of employee administrative files (CNESST, CCQ, vacation, sick leave, etc.).

  • Manage the group's accounts payable and accounts receivable flows.

  • Develop special control projects.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting;

  • CPA designation required.

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in accounting and administration, ideally within the construction industry.

  • Hands-on experience structuring a finance function.

  • Experience with an integrated management system (ERP) and comfort with technology.

  • Experience managing and overseeing teams.

Why join us?

  • Competitive compensation.

  • Minimum of 4 weeks of vacation, plus personal and sick days.

  • Hybrid work model and flexible schedules to support work-life balance.

  • Group insurance programs, telemedicine, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

  • Group RRSP with employer contribution of up to 3% to help build your future.

  • Annual $750 allowance for wellness and home office equipment.

  • Individual development plan.

  • Gifts for service milestones and your birthday.

  • Referral program offering up to $8,000 for successfully referred hires.

  • Parking, on-site gym, yoga classes, and a terrace. A vibrant social life!

By joining A+, you become part of a unique collective journey where every individual and every idea helps shape exceptional projects and move the industry forward.
